Terms
These terms explain, in plain language, the basis on which you may use Galaxy Phone Help. This is an independent help site for seniors and beginners with a Samsung Galaxy phone. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Samsung. By reading the guides and using the tools on this site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site. The terms are written simply on purpose, so that they can be understood without legal training. Nothing in these terms is meant to take away rights that the law gives you and cannot be taken away.
General help only
The information on this site is general help only. It explains, in simple steps, how to carry out common everyday jobs on a Samsung Galaxy phone running One UI, such as making calls, sending photos, changing text size, connecting to Wi-Fi, managing battery and storage, and recognising scam calls and messages. It is not personal advice about your phone, your account, or your situation. It is not a substitute for official Samsung support, for help from your phone carrier, for help from your bank, or for professional advice where that is needed.
You should use the information with your own judgement. Before you change an important setting, delete anything, reset anything, or follow any step that affects your accounts, your money, or your personal data, stop and think about whether the step is right for you. If you are unsure, ask someone you trust to look at the screen with you, or check Samsung support for your exact model. Do not follow a step on this site if it does not match what you see on your phone, or if it asks you to do something you do not understand. It is always better to pause, ask, and check than to tap through a step you are unsure about.
No guarantee that steps match every phone
There is no guarantee that every step on this site will match every Galaxy phone. Samsung phones differ by model, region, and carrier, and Samsung changes its software over time. The steps on this site were checked against Samsung support pages in October 2026, with One UI versions 8, 8.5, and 9 in mind, but menu words and menu positions can differ, and a future software update can change a menu after a guide was written. No single One UI version is presented as the only version, and no guide promises that your phone will look exactly like the guide describes.
When a menu word differs on your phone, the guides suggest a simple fallback: open Settings, tap the search box at the top, and type the name of the setting. That search is usually the fastest way to find the right screen. If a guide and your phone still do not match, please check official Samsung support for your exact model, or ask for help in person from someone you trust. Do not guess at a setting that could change how your phone, your accounts, or your data work. The site owner tries to keep the guides accurate, but accuracy cannot be guaranteed for every model and every software version, now or in the future.
Tools are guidance only
The tools on this site give general guidance only. A tool result is a starting point to help you think through a question, not a final answer about your phone, your safety, or your money. The Scam Call/Message Checker, for example, can help you spot warning signs and decide on a calm next step, but it cannot prove whether a particular call or message was genuine. The battery and storage tools can suggest simple checks, but they cannot diagnose a hardware fault. The passphrase maker can suggest a strong passphrase, but it cannot keep that passphrase safe for you, and you must still store it safely and never share it with strangers.
The tools run locally in your browser, and the information you type into them is not sent to or stored by this site. That design is explained in the Privacy Policy. Even so, you remain responsible for what you type, what you share, and what you do next. If a tool result and official advice disagree, follow the official advice, and contact the relevant company or service directly, using a number or address you already trust.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for how you use the information on this site, and for the choices you make on your own phone. That includes keeping your passwords and one-time codes private, keeping your phone and accounts secure, backing up photos and other important data before you delete or reset anything, and checking with your bank or phone carrier before acting on any message about money. This site will never ask you for passwords, codes, or bank details, and you should never share those details with anyone who contacts you out of the blue, even if they claim to be from Samsung, your bank, or another trusted company.
If you help another person use this site, please help them with care. Read the steps together, do not rush them, and do not change settings or delete anything on their phone without their agreement. If you are helping an older person, explain each step before you tap, and let them decide what they want to do. A phone holds personal memories, contacts, and messages, and those deserve respect and patience.
Availability and changes
This site is provided as it is, and as it is available. The site owner may change, update, or remove guides and tools at any time, without notice, in order to fix mistakes, reflect software changes, or improve the site. A guide may be updated after a software change, and an old version of a guide may no longer be available. The site may also be unavailable from time to time, for example for maintenance, and no promise is made that it will always be available without interruption. If the site is unavailable, please try again later, or check Samsung support directly.
These terms may also be updated from time to time. Any updated terms will be published on this page, and they will apply from the time they are published. Because this site has no accounts and no email list, individual visitors cannot be notified of a change, so visitors who want to stay informed should check this page from time to time. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the updated terms.
Links, other sites, and other services
This site is designed without external links in its guides and tools. If you leave this site, by typing a new address, following a link from a search result, or opening a link in a message, the terms and privacy practices of the new site apply, not these terms. This site is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or safety of other websites, apps, or services, including Samsung's own websites and apps, WhatsApp, or your phone carrier's services. When you use another service, follow that service's own terms and guidance, and be careful about what personal details you share there.
Liability
To the extent allowed by law, the site owner is not liable for loss or damage that arises from using, or being unable to use, the information on this site. That includes loss of data, loss of photos or contacts, problems with a phone, account, or service, and money lost after acting on a scam message, where the loss was not caused by the site owner's fault. This does not exclude liability where the law does not allow it to be excluded, and it does not affect your legal rights as a consumer. If a guide contains a mistake, please contact the site owner using the address on the Contact page, so the mistake can be checked and fixed, and please check official Samsung support for your exact model before acting on any step you are unsure about.
Intellectual property and fair use
The text, layout, and tools on this site are the work of the site owner, and they are provided for personal, non-commercial reading and use. You may read the guides, print a guide for your own personal use, and share a link to a guide with a family member or friend who needs the same help. Please do not copy large parts of the site and present them as your own work, and do not republish the site's content as if it were an official Samsung publication. Samsung, Galaxy, and One UI are trademarks of Samsung Electronics, and those names are used here only to describe which phones the guides apply to. No claim of ownership over those trademarks is made, and no Samsung logo is used on this site.
Contact
If you have a question about these terms, or if you spot a mistake in a guide, you can contact the site owner using the address shown on the Contact page. Please say which guide or tool your message is about, and describe the problem in plain language. Messages are read when time allows, and there is no phone number or live chat for this site. For urgent help with money, an account, or safety, contact your bank or the relevant service directly, using a number you already trust, and do not wait for a reply from this site.
