Disclaimer
Please read this disclaimer carefully before you follow any guide or use any tool on Galaxy Phone Help. It explains, in plain language, what this site is, what it is not, and the limits of the help it offers. This site is written for seniors and beginners who use a Samsung Galaxy phone, and it tries to be clear and honest about those limits, so that no reader is misled about where the advice comes from or how far it can be trusted.
An unofficial, independent site
Galaxy Phone Help is an unofficial site. It is not affiliated with Samsung, it is not endorsed by Samsung, and it is not run by Samsung. It is an independent help site, written and maintained by its owner, for readers who want simple, jargon-free steps for everyday jobs on a Galaxy phone. Nothing on this site is an official Samsung statement, and nothing here should be read as advice given by Samsung itself. Samsung, Galaxy, and One UI are trademarks of Samsung Electronics. Those names are used on this site only to describe which phones the guides apply to. No Samsung logo is used on this site, and no claim is made that Samsung has checked, approved, or sponsored any page, guide, or tool here.
Because this site is unofficial, official help should always come first where it matters. If you need help with a warranty, a repair, a Samsung account, a locked phone, a payment, or a problem that only Samsung or your phone carrier can fix, please contact Samsung support or your carrier directly, using a number or address you already trust. Do not rely on this site alone for those problems, and do not share passwords, codes, or bank details with anyone who contacts you claiming to be from Samsung or from this site. This site will never ask you for those details.
Steps may differ by model and version
There is no guarantee that the steps on this site will match every Galaxy phone exactly. Samsung makes many different Galaxy models, and those models can differ in their menus, their settings, and their software. Menu words can also differ by region and by phone carrier, and Samsung changes its software over time through updates. The steps on this site were checked against Samsung support pages in October 2026, with One UI versions 8, 8.5, and 9 in mind. No single version is presented as the only version, and no guide claims to cover every model or every future update.
If a step in a guide does not match what you see on your phone, do not guess. Stop at that step, and use the Settings search box at the top of the Settings screen to search for the setting by name. That search is built into One UI, and it is usually the fastest way to find the right screen when a menu path differs. If the search does not help, or if you are unsure about a setting that could affect your accounts, your data, or how your phone works, check Samsung support for your exact model, or ask someone you trust to look at the screen with you. A guide is a starting point, not a promise that your phone will behave in exactly the same way.
It is also possible that a guide becomes out of date after a software update. The site owner tries to keep the guides accurate, but updates can change menu words, move a setting, or add a new screen without warning. If you notice that a guide no longer matches your phone, please contact the site owner using the address on the Contact page, so the guide can be checked. Until a guide is updated, treat any step that looks different on your phone with extra care, and check official Samsung support for your exact model before you continue.
General help only, no guarantee
All of the content on this site, including the guides and the tools, is general help only. It is written for a general reader, not for your specific phone, your specific accounts, or your specific situation. It does not take account of your model, your carrier, your software version, your settings, or any problem that is unique to your device. There is no guarantee that following a guide will fix a problem, improve your phone, or produce the result described in the guide. Results can vary, and a step that works well on one phone may not be the right step for another phone.
You should use the information on this site with your own judgement, and you should back up important photos, contacts, and other data before you delete anything, reset anything, or change an important setting. If a step involves an account, a payment, or personal data, think carefully before you continue, and ask for help if you are unsure. The site owner is not liable, to the extent allowed by law, for loss or damage that arises from following a guide or using a tool, including loss of data or problems with a phone or account. This does not affect rights that the law gives you and cannot be taken away. Please also read the Terms page, which explains this in more detail.
Scam, battery, and safety advice is general only
The advice on this site about scam calls, scam messages, suspicious links, battery life, charging, and phone safety is general only, and it is never a guarantee. A guide or a tool can help you spot common warning signs, such as pressure to act quickly, requests for passwords or one-time codes, or requests to move money, but it cannot prove whether a particular call, message, link, or website was genuine. Scammers change their methods often, and a new scam may not match any example described on this site. If you are unsure about a call or message, the safest step is usually to stop, hang up or do not reply, and contact the company yourself, using a number you already trust.
If you have already shared money details, passwords, or one-time codes, or if you have already sent money, contact your bank directly straight away, using the number on your bank card or bank statement. Do not use a number from the suspicious call or message. Also consider contacting your phone carrier, and changing any password that may have been shared, from a device you trust. The guides on this site can explain those next steps in plain language, but they cannot undo a payment, recover money, or guarantee that an account is safe. Only your bank, your carrier, and the relevant service can deal with those matters, and they should be contacted as soon as possible.
Battery and charging advice on this site is also general only. It covers simple settings and simple checks that can help battery life on many Galaxy phones, but it cannot diagnose a faulty battery, a faulty charger, a faulty cable, or a hardware problem. If your phone becomes very hot, swells, smells strange, or stops charging safely, stop using it, unplug it if it is safe to do so, and seek help from Samsung support or a qualified repair service. Do not open the phone yourself, and do not keep using a charger or cable that looks damaged. Safety comes first, and a guide should never be followed if it feels unsafe on your own phone.
Emergencies
This site is not an emergency service, and it cannot help in an emergency. For emergencies, contact your local emergency services directly, using the emergency number for your own country or region, or go to the nearest place where you can get help in person. Do not rely on this site, on a guide, or on a tool for emergency help, and do not wait for a reply from this site if you need urgent help. If you are setting up emergency contacts or SOS features on your phone, read the emergency contacts guide slowly, test the settings with someone you trust if it is safe to do so, and remember that those features depend on your phone having signal, battery, and the correct settings for your region. They are a help, not a guarantee that help will arrive.
The emergency contact card maker on this site makes a simple card for your own personal use. That card is made locally in your browser, and it is not sent anywhere by this site. Keep any printed card somewhere safe, keep it up to date, and do not share it with people who do not need it. The card does not replace official identification, medical information held by a health service, or advice from a doctor or other professional.
Other products and services
Guides on this site may mention other products and services that many Galaxy owners use, such as WhatsApp, in order to explain a everyday job. Mentioning a product or service does not mean this site endorses it, and it does not mean that product or service endorses this site. Each product and service has its own terms, its own privacy practices, and its own support, and you should follow those when you use them. This site is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or safety of other websites, apps, or services, and it does not control how they change over time. If a guide and another service disagree, follow the guidance from the service itself, or ask for help from someone you trust.
If you have a question about this disclaimer, or if you think a guide is misleading or out of date, please contact the site owner using the address on the Contact page. Please say which guide or tool your message is about, and describe the problem in plain language. The site owner will check the message when time allows, and will correct a mistake where one is found. Thank you for reading this disclaimer, and thank you for using Galaxy Phone Help with care.
